My beautiful brave star Lucy. Born suffering from CMV congenital Cytomegalovirus contracted during pregnancy causing Lucy major brain damage resulting in severe quad mixed tone Cerebral Palsy, Chronic Lung disease & global development delay. Lucy fought a brave battle against all odds from birth. Each time they told me she would'nt make it she did. Even sent us from Great Ormond street hospital to a childrens hospice for end of life care & 2 weeks later we were still there & Lucy was in the best condition she had ever been in!! The 2 short years Lucy was in my life were sometimes tough & emotionally really heartbreaking because she was just so beautiful & special but cruelly given all these disabilities, but when I look back now I just feel so blessed, she taught me so much about life & people. She gave me a purpose, strength & courage. I miss Lucy with all of my heart & if I could have her back disabilities and all I would in a second. I take comfort in my belief that she is now in a better place free from any disability & pain. Isabella Lucy's sister & I often talk of Lucy running around playing & eating ice cream just ike any other toddler!! Bless you my darling Lucy Locket....til you are in my arms again..mummy. xxxxxx

Bet you are not so tiny now, all that cake & ice cream in heaven must have made you a sturdy little girl able to run & play like you could have never done in this life!! And although I miss you so very much I am thankful you have found peace & eternal good health & happiness.
We watched your birthday balloon float up to you & I said to Issy once it vanishes into the clouds that means you caught it, she chose it for you because it had a monster on it!!! Maybe she was referring to you because we both reckon you are a cheeky little monster up there!!!

I have a child with special needs, he is great yes indeed.
People may look at him in a different way,
But he's like any other little boy wanting to play.
He has Cerebral Palsy, which enables him to walk,
But he's still up for a nice long talk.
He likes to play with play dough,
Blow bubbles, colour ,and ride trikes.
But those are only some of the things that he likes.
At playtime he walks on his walker out to the swings,
It just takes him longer when the bell rings.
So please be patient and get to know
A little boy named Chandler, who wants to be loved so.
He is very sweet and loves to play,
So please give him a chance and don't run away.
He has feelings, just like you and I,
So please be nice and don't make him cry.
Try not to judge him because he can't run.
Just look at his heart and you both will have fun.
He doesn't look at you different, or make ugly jokes,
Because God gave him a special heart,
And he doesn't want it broke.
So if you see it in your heart,
Please let him have fun and be a part.
He's just a child wanting to play,
You can teach each other in different ways.
Just remember God made each of us different and unique.
I like green, you may like pink.
In God's eyes we are all the same,
So what do you say friend, how about a game?

What kind of place would heaven be with all its streets of gold, if all the souls, that dwell up there like yours and mine, were old? How strange would heaven’s music sound when harps begin to ring, if children were not gathered ‘round to help the angels sing. The children that God sends to us are only just a loan, He knows we need their sunshine to make the house a home. We need the inspiration of a baby’s blessed smile. He doesn’t say they’ve come to stay, just lends them for a while. Sometimes it takes them years to do the work for which they come. Sometimes in just a month or two our Father calls them home. I like to think some souls up there bear not one sinful scar. I love to think of heaven as a place where children are.
